					<description>Wow, so true! We should be where God is, but we're quite often creating our own path and expecting Him to follow down that path with us. 

To follow means to be behind not in front doing our own thing. 

Makes me wonder how many people are in reality following the one in front of Jesus rather than following Jesus. I guess this means that God will indeed let people go their own way. He doesn't beg us to follow Him, He asks if we will - it's our choice. If we go ahead we can take our own path which may end up separating us from Him. The farther we get ahead of Him in what we call ministry and doing something in His name will probably be very detrimental to our relationship with Him. How many people design their own path, call it ministry or serving God and then everything falls to pieces or they are constantly struggling with what to do. It's because they're in front, they're not following. 

He prepares the way for us not us preparing the way for Him and then praying it all works. Maybe another option for this picture would be an additional path with Jesus turning onto His better path and the one who is all excited about Jesus following his ministry is taking the wrong path - the one he created.</description>
