“It would help if you answered my call now, wouldn’t it?” - God.
It is important that we give God a chance to speak - it is only by listening for him that God is able to speak to us. Many of our prayers are one-sided. We do all the talking and fail to let him speak. What kind of conversation is that?
“Speak Lord, for your servant is listening.” - Samuel 3:9
This idea has me thinking about the progression of the faith walk - do you think God becomes more silent as we grwo more mature in our faith? It’s an idea I am kicking around these days - I think there might be some merit to it.

The reality is, though, that sometimes God does remain silent..
