A friend told me the story of how the gigantic new megachurch in our town got built. Apparently, a very wealthy man was going to Baptist Church A. He got upset with that church (don't know the details there) and moved to Baptist Church B. At the time, A was the biggest Baptist Church in town, so he gave a huge bunch of money to B to build a new church, and now they're the biggest. This is pretty funny, and sadly true.
