We can change inside, gradually or suddenly, and do our best to keep the transformation hidden from others.

But there comes a time when the internal pressure, the need, to reveal your true self (as you know yourself at that time) becomes unbearable.

At some point the you you know to be you must come out.

Not for everyone, but for many people this is the turning point from belonging to rejection. It’s an amazing act of courage and defiance and independence.

  1. Some people make it a goal to whitewash someone who is proud of their being the odd one out. And that’s just painful to watch, let alone experience >_<

    I think my ‘new creation’ experience actually MADE me the black sheep. On purpose. I’m a fire poker- I poke and poke until all the dead burnt up stuff falls off and the fire can roar.
    when God goes after me, as the black sheep, it creates new places where Heaven is…. Heaven is ‘wherever God is’ – So, I see it as “EXPANDING the pasture…” LOL
