Are you demonized for raising a question?

Sometimes in some places questions are welcomed.

But other times in other places raising questions can be dangerous.

I’m glad I left places that tried to silence my questions. I’m free now to be curious, to wonder, to search, to explore, and to discover.

I encourage you to get to a place where you can do one simple thing: question.

An online search of the NRSV shows that there are 2,506 question marks in the Bible.

And not all of them have an answer.

Jesus said, “Demon, what is your name?”

And the answer, “Question… for we are many.”

Well… at least, that is the way I think it may read….. in reality. lol!

Thanks for posting. At my last church, and it may very well be my last church, I was removed from worship ministry because the pastor felt I needed more healing in my life. When I asked him if he needed more healing in his life, he resounded with a hearty “yes”. So I asked, why then, is it restrictive for me to need healing, but not you ? Within a short time he stopped speaking to me, and I was asked to leave the church.

  4. wow. sorry that happened to you jim.
