All of these methods have been used on me, and all of these methods are being used today to silence people.

I get a lot of threats. I get shamed. I am rejected and banished. All kinds of efforts are made to make me stop criticizing what’s wrong with the church, including its abuses.

Lisa Bevere’s recent video encouraging people to not share the sinful secrets of the church is a case in point. I suggest comparing the church to a brutal mob family doesn’t help her argument.

Don’t be silent! Speak out on behalf of yourself as well as others.

Things are best brought into the light.

    It’s one thing not to share about the abuse and to handle it appropriately in-house. It’s another thing to not share about it and to not deal with it either.

  5. Yes that’s what I mean. I appreciate that you like it. Many are scared off by “beyond belief” and I don’t want to alienate them.
