"Bible History" cartoon by nakedpastor David Hayward First, the bible was on the throne, totally unquestionable. Next, the bible endured my dismantling of its claims. Then, after seeing the incongruencies between the bible's claims and truth, I neglected. Finally, when I accepted the bible for what it was, it tookits rightful place. My deconstruction really began with me questioning the bible as the only inspired word of God, infallible and inerrant. That's really what began it all. What ended it was loving what is rather than what I was taught or what I wished it was.
