a tribute cartoon for Charlie Hebdo and victims of the Paris shooting

"For Charlie Hebdo" cartoon by nakedpastor David Hayward At least 12 people have been killed at the Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine building in Paris, France today. Two of them were police officers. More here. It has been said that the pen is mightier than the sword. It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. The power of art is profound. It can inspire anything from charity to outrage. I'm aware of the risks of being a satirical cartoonists. I've certainly lost friends and respect. My wife has been in tears over some of the hate mail I've received from crazy people. However," I haven't lost life or limb." There are consequences to this art form. But today's is insane and severe. My condolences to my fellow satirists at Charlie Hebdo. here. >
