My favorite method for making coffee now is the pour-over method.
I have two ways: v-shaped ceramic cone and Kalita. I use a local free trade French Roast ground very fine but not too fine. The v-shaped one brings out the fruitier notes, while the flat-bottomed Kalita filter brings out more of the earth tones.
It's raised my coffee drinking pleasure to a whole new level.
