I drew this cartoon over 10 years ago. It amazes me... or does it?... how things don't change much sometimes. In fact, things appear to have gotten worse.
Rather, things are getting exposed more than they used to.
I really do believe the church has an unconscious and unwritten policy of spiritual and emotional abuse and that, unless you intentionally resist it, the church will lean in that direction.
Plus, we're beginning to see that many church leaders abuse their power to sexually abuse their people as well.
