COP21, Climate Change, and Mother Earth

"COP21" cartoon by nakedpastor David Hayward

My friend Kendall Kadatz commissioned this cartoon. This is what he asked for:
"Hi David, I have been thinking about an image for a couple of weeks now and am feeling like it's something that needs to be expressed, but I'm not an artist. I don't think a lot of people would be willing to draw it, but I thought you might. So here goes. In light of the recent COP21 talks, this image came to me and became stuck in my brain. Mother Earth is lying down, battered and exhausted, her clothes disheveled and torn. In front of her with their back to the audience are 4 or 5 men, talking to themselves. They are making comments like... - "You think she can hold on?" - "Or should we slow down?" - "I think we've got another 10 years." - "If we slow down, maybe 30." ... Obviously they've been raping her and are debating how long the ordeal can continue before she fails. I was thinking of labeling the perpetrators Australia, Saudi Arabia, US, Canada, and Russia since they are the 5 highest polluters per capita..."
And this is what I came up with. He's very happy with it. He should have the original drawing in his possession this week. Thanks Kendall for the collaboration.
