Disunity: I know what the problem is

"We Still Know Not What We Do" (by nakedpastor David Hayward) Ignorance is the root of suffering. In the gospels it says that Jesus saw the people were like sheep without a shepherd. So what did he do? He had compassion for them and taught them. When he was being crucified he saw the same power at work. They didn't know what they were doing. Buddhism agrees. Ignorance is the root of suffering. This is what is behind the profound manifestations of apparent disunity in the church, among religions and in the world. It is the illusion that we are not one. That we are not united. Join our online community, The Lasting Supper!
