Well, I agree!

I really don’t care how religious people are.

Just don’t be a dick!

In other words, you are free to observe any religion or religious practices you want. But if you are also a badly behaved person, then your religion and religious practices mean nothing.

Wait! Didn’t Jesus say something like this? Yes! In Matthew 23:23…

“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices--mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law--justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.”

No, I’m not against religion.

But I am against it being used as a cloaking device for bad behavior.
