To Evangelicals, Trump Gets Results. A Supreme Court that will overturn Roe v Wade, put Prayer Back in Schools (and toss Evolution out), and hand the Real True Christians™ Culture War Victory after Culture War Victory. (Plus fulfilling some End Time Prophecy or other.) Compared to that, what are a bunch of Kurdish lives?
Everybody has his price, and Evangelicals have shown that They Come CHEAP.

(Or is it the other way around? Trump resembles an Evangelical, so he Has To Be One Of Us?)
Until the Kurdish betrayal, I still held out some hope Id be able to worship alongside evangelicals someday and be reconciled. That hope is now extinguished. They knew what he is, they let this happen, and they have continued to justify themselves, even at the deaths of foreigners. It started with the rejection and demonization of refugees; it will end in genocides.
