Welcome to another FREEBIE FRIDAY original artwork give-away. Some grumpy people think I'm doing this solely as a gimmick to get traffic. I realize this doesn't hurt my traffic. The truth is, I just love giving things away. I love to have my art hanging in your homes or places of work.

ORIGINAL pieces of my art. This is a picture of one of these original works. This is one of the original limited edition woodcuts you see here. I carved the wood into a stamp to create the part you see is black (just like the potato stamps we made in elementary school). I applied the waterproof ink on the stamp and rubbed it onto Arches cotton rag watercolor paper, measuring approximately 2.5" x 3.5". Then when the black ink dried, I applied the watercolor paint. I call this very limited edition
"Walking the Dogs". Click on the image for a larger version. They don't come matted or framed. There are three of them (#7, #8, #9), and they are all very similar, of course. I'm feeling generous today, so there are going to be three winners!
We have a dog. On winter nights just like this as the sun is setting we love to walk out on our frozen river and let her run free. She loves it, and so do we. It clears our minds, focuses our hearts, and reunites us. They are always special times.
