"Goodbye Gord Downie" cartoon art by nakedpastor David Hayward A fellow Canadian Gord Downie passed away yesterday. Such a great loss! All night I was thinking about what to draw in tribute to him. This morning when I awakened this is what I saw: Gord standing on a beautiful, peaceful, autumnal, Canadian island, waving goodbye to us. I love his music. His words. His creativity, it seemed, seeped into all areas of his life. And ours. He will be missed, but all he put his creative energy into remains with us. Thankfully! (You can see a close-up of Gord here.)
