"Trail Blazing" cartoon by nakedpastor David Hayward
I started my own trail a long time ago. No one really noticed.
It was scary at first cutting through all the excuses and objections. It got easier.
Then it got harder again when I realized that the objections were more serious, threatening and intimidating.
But the further into the jungle I got and the further away from everyone else I became, then people started to notice.
It became really obvious that I was heading off in my own direction to find my own land and build my own home.
My determination, along with my exhaustion, encounters the determined resistance of others to my journey. But I keep going because, well, because I must! I keep cutting my way through.
How about you?
