Is your God chained to the bible?

I often cartoon sarcastically. For example, That-Which-We-Call-God doesn't look like that. Also, it's not the bible itself but our various interpretations of it. Also, this illustrates the impossible rather than the reality.
It saddens me to see how often people are marginalized, excluded, judged and condemned because they don't qualify under a certain biblical hermeneutic.
It's like their god is chained to an ancient book.
