Buy a fine-art reproduction of this cartoon! I have many friends who would totally identify with the man in this cartoon. Their struggles have been very real and very difficult. When I talk about this with them I realize that essentially we are all the same. We all struggle with knowing who we are, accepting it, and being that in the world. Some face greater opposition and rejection because their orientation is less acceptable than others', but basically the struggle is the same.
