I like to relate to people, not Bibles or textbooks or ideologies or beliefs. People. People with hearts and minds and feelings and wisdoms. Real people.
Do we adopt clichés when we are afraid or ashamed of our authentic selves? Or to we adopt clichés when we are afraid of punishment if we don't measure up? Or are we so impressed with the clichés that we wear them like beautiful clothes and masks?
