When I was in the middle of a very difficult time... towards the end of my ministry in the church... I had this dream in which I saw Jesus as a boy. Specifically, it was around the age when he was found in the temple listening to the teachers and asking them questions (Luke 2:46). That's right! Asking them questions. The dream had a powerful affect on me. It gave me courage. Courage to be me, and courage to ask questions. If someone, as a boy, can ask questions, then certainly I could. I believe it is an act of incredible courage to ask good questions. And it makes me wonder if a young person can intuit that his or her life will be a challenge because they refuse to accept the given answers but instead ask the questions.
