Terms for Unity
Description: A man says to a woman who looks on in bafflement, "I work so hard for unity but no one will agree to my terms!"
One thing Lisa and I learned in our marriage that is incredible valuable is that unity is not achieved through intellectual agreement but through love, mutual respect, and work.
We learned this is not only how unity is done, but how it is enjoyed. It's a lot more fun when uniqueness and diversity is appreciated.
This guy unfortunately thinks everyone needs to agree (with him) before unity can be achieved.
The fact is, we already are one and united on a deep and fundamental level.
The challenge therefore is learning how to live this out and make it manifest.
