The Oh-Oh of Cancelling Church

"The Oh-Oh of Cancelling Church"

I totally relate to Pastor Don here. Any other pastors out there?

I know a lot of people who no longer go to church and they like it that way.

When I left the church in 2010, for the first few Sundays I felt incredibly free.

Then I felt delinquent.

It took me a while to get used to it.

Then did I EVER get used to it.

Sunday morning is my favorite time of the week now.

Didn't used to be.

DISCLAIMER: There are good churches. There's a church Lisa and I love to visit when we can. We look forward to it when we do and we are always glad we went. If you can find a church like that, then take advantage of it. But not now during this pandemic. Wait until things are safe again. Much love!

I used to be a pastor. My wife and I spend Sunday morning at home, have for years now.
We never felt so good on Sunday morning as we do now.
We sometimes miss the congregational singing but we don’t miss the silly lyrics that make up so many of the songs that are popular in church.
