"Closer So We Can Hear Our Hearts"
This is a watercolor painting on heavy, high quality watercolor paper.
It measures approximately 6"x7" with a white border for matting and framing.
I painted this I'm not quite sure why. But the feeling I get is that someone should get this to send to a loved one whom they miss during these COVID times. I know there's family and friends I miss. Sure, calls and online helps. But it's not the same as being in the same room close to one another to enjoy all the vibes too. You know what I mean? Let's get closer so we can hear our hearts and not just our voices! I'm looking forward to that day.
I live in eastern Canada. I'm fascinated by the complex but minimal simplicity of the geography that surrounds me. I endeavor to capture its essence in my work. There is something mystical, contemplative, and spiritual in my art... because there is in the place where I live.
Not matted and framed. I suggest white double matte with a black frame.
