My First Most Popular Cartoon: God’s Daisy

I first drew this cartoon in 2010. It was my most popular one at the time.

There have been more since though.

Even though this is a very anthropomorphic representation, I still like the message that love should always be presumed, and that love always wins.

  1. I like the little smile on the characters face and the daisy and size of the hand perhaps being a metaphor for the love of God and the power of that.

So much can get in the way of love. How we can feel about ourselves for all kinds of reasons, and anyone who has done or attempted great things knows what it’s like to need to be prepared to be hated, mocked and misjudged.

All can take it’s toll on the human spirit.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful and gentle reminder of love 🙂
