Have you ever lost a loved one? This painting is to help you mourn and heal.
This is a very special painting to me. And I hope it is for you too. You may already know this. But I lost a brother to suicide in 2016. I seem to be going through another significant layer of grief.
I'm not superstitious at all. But there are some of us who believe the appearance of a red cardinal is the embodiment of a lost loved one. Sure enough, one always shows up on the anniversary of the day Mark left us.
As a way to process my grief, I painted his... a red cardinal flying against a colorful background... alone but free.
Hang this as a celebration of the life lost and the love that remains.

This is a one-of-a-kind NakedPastor original painting. In a world where there aren’t many things that have not been mass-produced, duplicated, or copied, it’s good to remember that, at some point, there was always an original – an alpha. It was created with love and care.
