I drew this during a phase of liberation when I knew I had to come out into the open. I had to move into the clearing and let people see me. See me for who I really am and not what they want me to be. I remember the moment as if I was in a forest looking out into the clearing with fear and apprehension. Because I knew the risks. I knew the costs. Stay in the woods hidden or into the clearing seen. A choice we all have to make.
