I love long-distance love. I don't mean love between two people who live far away from each other. I mean love between two people that lasts a long, long time.

Not that they must or should, or that something couldn't interrupt their plan, but these two are committed to going the distance.

I live in eastern Canada. I'm fascinated by the complex but minimal simplicity of the geography that surrounds me. I endeavor to capture its essence in my work. There is something mystical, contemplative, and spiritual in my art... because there is in the place where I live.
