I left the church in 2010.
But it never left me!
Church was such a huge part of my life. After I left the church I admitted it was unhealthy to reject and eject the whole history from my life. It’s a part of my story, so I embrace it.
Rather than reject it, I transcend it.
I am who I am because of it, not in spite of it.
Learning how the church is a part of the compost that enriches the soil out of which we grow is a fruitful exercise.
