Use This Tool to Respond to Your Critics

"What You Think of Me" cartoon by nakedpastor David Hayward

Cartoon Description: There is a large circle. Inside it says, "What you think of me." There's a small dot outside the circle with an arrow pointing to it that says, "How much I care."

Of course, not caring at all what other people think about anything can be a pathology.

But not caring about what they think of YOU can be very healthy and even necessary.

I get criticized a lot. Sometimes very cruelly. I've come to the point that I can use this cartoon. I don't care. I can't care or they'd paralyze me.

If you are helping people and there are people criticizing you, if you start caring about what they thought, the risk is that they would succeed in stopping you from helping others.

The best remedy: Don't care what they think about you. Period!

I'm serious: you can use this cartoon to respond to them if you want.

Much love to you all!

How to deal with unfair and cruel judgements by family members when you are the one struggling?
