Flip It Like This Sticker

Don’t be a walkover or a wallflower. Rather be a table flipper. This sticker is a reminder of that!

This fun cartoon is a favorite, probably because it depicts what many of us often feel like doing (losing it and acting out our true feelings). It shows Jesus teaching a woman how to flip tables. It is based on the gospel story where Jesus overturns the tables of the temple money-changers because they extorted the poor who couldn't afford sacrifices. Taking action is a common theme in my work. My hope is that we learn how to challenge abuse, corruption, exploitation, and injustice of all kinds, wherever and whenever we can.
