I Came to Announce Digital Cartoon

It's called Good News because it's announcing a truth, a statement about reality, about what is.

It isn't a prescription about what is possible or advice on what you have to do.

It's been done. It just is.

I remember the very moment my deconstruction began. It was graduation day at seminary, and I suddenly realized I questioned the inspiration of scripture. It was an absolutely devastating and terrifying moment. 

But, unwilling to just throw away the bible, but also unwilling to just ignore the problem, I henceforth embarked on a decades-long spiritual journey of trying to figure out what this all meant.

While I was not only in the Church but in the ministry!

Along the way, I had a few significant spiritual epiphanies that propelled me along my spiritual path. But it was a hard road filled with theological angst and spiritual torment as I tried to reconcile my spiritual hunches with my Christian theological bent.

I FELT that we are all one, connected at a deep and fundamental level. But for me at this time it was just an intuition. 

This intuition gradually increased until in March of 2009 I had a profound flash of insight and I saw, and felt, and KNEW, that we are one.

Immediately, the peace of mind I had always sought suddenly came, and it has never left.

So now I work from the factual foundation that we are one already. 

In all our differences and diversity, oneness and unity is the ground.

From the oneness, everything unfolds.

Including you.
