A new sumi ink on paper. Isn't life easier when we can share it with a friend or a lover? Somehow, the storms of life feel more faceable together. We might think that, alone, we wouldn't make it. But together we will.

Even though I convey a lot of space in my paintings, I also like to convey a kind of love that thrives in serenity.

This is a Sumi ink on heavy, high quality Arches watercolour cotton rag paper.

It measures approximately 8"x10" with a white border for matting and framing.

I'm fascinated by the complex but minimal simplicity of the geography that surrounds me. I endeavour to capture its essence in my work. There is something mystical, contemplative, and spiritual in my art... because there is in the place where I live.
