My cartoon “Left Behind” is one of my personal favourites for being funny. It’s not based on fun stories though. My whole teenage years were filled with terror about the second coming of Christ and all the people who would be left behind when Jesus returned to heaven with his favourite people. The Left Behind series came out later and I saw them for what they were: scare tactics. So I drew this cartoon to lighten things up a bit. I made it the butt of a joke. HAHA.

Cheeky!

I love the left behind sticker-- I just need to choose a good place for it. Like so many who grew up in evangelical churches, I was terrified of the Rapture as a child. I'm (mostly) over it now, thanks to watching many unintentionally hilarious books and movies about the Rapture (the stupider they are, the more I love them). Still, sometimes when it's the middle of the night and everyone in the world except for me seems to be asleep, I'll go into a little panic attack, thinking that the Rapture has happened and I've been left behind. These days I usually come back to my normal rationality pretty quickly, but I suspect I'll never quite overcome this fear. Anyway, I love the sticker.
