Santa Satan

This might be weird for some of you.

But for some of you this was commonplace.

I grew up in a Christian and church culture that was super superstitious.

Demons were everywhere, and you had to diligently cleanse your life and home of any hint of their presence.

My mom was chastised for collecting elephant figurines because they were "Eastern".

I knew a woman who was disciplined for collecting images of owls because they are creatures of the night... darkness.

I had a chess set that was carved from exotic wood. My pastor told me they looked like Mayan demons. So I threw the set out.

I heard a sermon warning us against the Smurfs. I can't remember the Smurf's connection to the demonic, but there was one.

And on and on.

So you might laugh at this poor guy in the cartoon. Even though he's trapped in a superstitious and demonic universe, his fear is real. His wife dressed as a seductive Santa creates a portal for demons to enter the bedroom.
