This is a watercolor and ink painting on heavy, high quality Arches watercolor paper.

It measures approximately 8"x10" with a white border for matting and framing.

In nature is where I feel most connected to the All that is all. There is a deep mystical union that we can sometimes feel when we disconnect from everything and get in touch with ourselves in the wild. The immensity of the universe makes us feel small but not insignificant. Rather, nature can help us feel one with the universe and we can participate in its grandeur.

I am. Yes. But we are too. Yes.

I live in eastern Canada. I'm fascinated by the complex but minimal simplicity of the geography that surrounds me. I endeavor to capture its essence in my work. There is something mystical, contemplative, and spiritual in my art... because there is in the place where I live.
